So last night I read this book, you may have heard of it. It’s only the most depressingly beautifully book I’ve ever read.
Pretty sure it happened over the course of four hours and there may or may not have been vodka and a box of kleenex.
You don’t need me to review it.
You only need to ask yourself two things:
- Do I want to cry tonight?
- Am I in the mood for the most heartbreakingly beautiful love story that will rip my heart out, put it through a blender and serve that concoction over open flames.
If you’re answer is no to either of those – you’re in luck because this book, by the incredibly talented John Green (he also wrote Looking for Alaska which has one of my favorite book quotes of all-time in it), is being made into a movie starring Shailene Woodley (yes – she is in everything that is good these days and it’s awesome), so you can just wait and snot-sob for two hours in the theatre.
Because I’m pretty sure I started crying about 25 pages into the book, so I can only imagine how much worse it will be when it’s on a big screen, and there’s music, and Shailene Woodley because come on.
Girl has Oscar winning crying down to a science.
Just stopped in to say – you should all read this book. Regardless of how much it ruins your life.
If you want to have your heart ripped out and feel alive – just pick up any book my John Green. Nevermind Nicholas Sparks. He’s amateur.
That’s all for tonight.

But really – have you read this book? I’m assuming most of you have. I was really late to the party. But ok, yes! Tell me all your thoughts!
